The Libyan Iron and Steel Company reported yesterday that it is continuing to export its products to international markets.

It reports that it has begun shipping 8,000 tons of rebar (mild steel reinforcement bar) on board the ship "SNAPPER" bound for Lebanon. LISCO says, this reflects the growing demand for the company's products regionally and internationally.‎

‎Meanwhile, LISCO reports that exports of 30,000 tonnes of Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) are also continuing on board the KNIDOS, bound for Portugal. ‎

LISCO said these exports enhance its international presence and affirm its commitment to providing high quality products in accordance with international standards. This, while continuing to support the national economy and consolidate its leadership in the local market.‎
