The Tripoli based Military Industries Authority reported last Saturday (6 September) that the cylinders at its Cooking Gas Cylinders factory successfully passed all tests.

It explained that as part of its commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety, random samples of cylinders were selected and subjected to rigorous testing within the cylinder testing device, under the direct supervision of the International Inspection Company.

Thanks to the efforts made and strict adherence to international standards, it said the cylinders successfully passed all tests in accordance with the highest approved international specifications.

It further explained that while the required pressure for the cylinder is 80 bars, its cylinders successfully exceeded 150 bars with high efficiency, reflecting the strength and quality of local manufacturing.

The Military Industries Authority said this success reflects its commitment to providing safe and reliable products that meet the needs of civilians and embody unwavering commitment to the quality of national manufacturing.

It added that there will be an official opening and the launch of the production phase of the factory soon.

The Military Industries Authority, who is trying to reinvest itself by finding a civilian use of its products, said this comes as part of its efforts to serve the nation and its citizens – towards a national industrial renaissance.
