Militiamen in Misrata on Monday foiled an attempted car bomb attack. They discovered two cars with explosives wired to go off. They managed to diffuse the bombs which could have caused major loss of life and created chaos in the city.
Also in the vehicles were said to be a number of pro-Qaddafi publications and a map of Benghazi reportedly showing planned locations to attack.
