The Preparatory Committee for the Italian-Libyan Economic Forum held its third meeting at the Cabinet Office, in the presence of the technical committee formed to discuss and adopt the proposed activities at the forum.
The technical committee presented the proposed economic salons throughout the days of the forum and the participating Libyan-Italian authorities, and they approved, as well as reviewed the cultural activities proposed by the Italian side and the preparations required for their implementation, and coordination was made between the General Authority for Exhibitions, the Ministry of Culture and the Italian Embassy to arrange the necessary preparations.
The proposed pavilions of the exhibition were also adopted on the Libyan and Italian sides for the private and public sectors of the two countries.
The Libyan-Italian Forum will focus on olive oil production, fishing, mining, medium oil industries, technical training and scientific research.
It also adopted October 29 as the official date for the start of the forum in Tripoli.
