Tripoli, 1 February 2022:

Libya’s Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, inaugurated yesterday the completion of the stalled Third Ring Road project, in the presence of a number of ministers, directors of executive bodies and a coalition of Egyptian companies executing the project.

The total length of the project is 23 km and will be implemented in four phases: Starting from Ghoat al-Shaal, passing through the Airport Road and the intersection of Salah Al-Deen on the Second Ring Road, reaching the seashore near Mitiga Airport.

The previous contract had been agreed under the Qaddafi regime with the Libyan Brazilian company JV, a subsidiary of Odebrecht.
