Benghazi, 1 May 2016:
A new TV station has started test broadcasting in Benghazi. Al-Hadith TV has, however, already been publishing news on Twitter and Facebook.
Operating from a house near the city’s Dubai Street, the station – firmly sympathetic to Khalifa Hafter – is said to be supported and financed by activists based in the UAE.
The ostensibly state-controlled Rasmiya TV in Benghazi is also solidly pro-Hafter.
