The commander of the 115 Brigade, Abdul Hamid Bouker, was buried today in Marj. Footage has emerged of the advance in which Bouker and four other members of his unit died yesterday.
Taken on a head-camera by one of his men, he is showing leading them alongside a low wall outside the perimeter of the Hawari cement plant. On their right is a grove of small trees. At the end of the wall, they turn toward a two-storey concrete building.
Bouker had taken a few steps towards this structure when the screen is filled with a flash. The cameraman falls to the ground and the lens appears to focus on a piece of clothing. The cries of wounded can be heard in the background.
