Tripoli, 23 June 2015:
The “government” of Khalifa Ghwell in Tripoli has announced that it intends to seize assets and properties belonging to a number of political figures politicians together plus those of four companies.
The names listed in the announcement are all known to be strongly opposed to the Muslim Brotherhood. They are:
- Abdulrahman Shalgham, the former representative if Libya to the UN;
- Mahmud Jebril, the head of the National Forces Alliance;
- Abdullah Naker, the self promiting former head of Tripoli Revolutionaries’ Council and founder of Al-Qimma party;
- Airforce General Saqr Adam Geroushi, head of the Libyan National Army’s air force;
- Ibrahim Dabashi, the current representative of Libya to the UN; and finally
- Fatima Hamroush, former Health Minister.
She said that all she owns in Tripoli is a private home.
Names of the companies listed are:
- Tourism Investment Company;
- Africa Company for Investments;
- Babel Maritime Agency Company;
- The National Holding Company for Construction.
