Tripoli, 17 December 2014:

Air force warplanes attached to the Libya National Army (LNA) bombed targets in Ghariyan yesterday, targeting two military areas.

Local media reported that the warplanes's target was a military camp called Abu Gheelan and also the security gate in the Al-Gidama area in south Ghariyan. Abu Gheelan is said to be an air base in an area called Al-Hamra.

A local source told LANA news agency that anti-aircraft fire thwarted the warplanes attempts to strike their targets. In the end, the sources said, the planes hit a building belonging to a Turkish construction company in Al-Hamra.
