Authorities in Benghazi are trying to discover the identity of a murdered woman whose body was found in the Tikka area of the city.
The woman had been shot and then wrapped in a burial shroud, which was tied closed with her own scarf, spokesman for the Benghazi Joint Security Room Ibrahim Al-Sharaa told the Libya Herald.
Her body was found today by a local shepherd, he said, but the woman’s identity and the circumstances surrounding her death as yet remained a mystery.
