Tripoli, 23 February 2014:
The bodies of the 11 people killed in Friday’s air ambulance crash in Tunisia are to be flown back to Tripoli’s Mitiga Airbase this afternoon, along with members of the victims’ families who went to Tunis to try and identify them.
A ceremony will be held at the airbase, a member of the military’s air ambulance unit told the Libya Herald.
The ill-fated Antonov 26’s two black boxes were found yesterday among the charred wreckage, the Tunisian Ministry of Transport has said.
The inquiry into the crash is being carried out by a joint 10-member Tunisian-Libyan team.
