Tripoli, 23 December 2013:
Tomorrow, the 24 December 2013, will be a public holiday in Libya on account of it being the 62nd anniversary of Libya's independence from Italian rule.
There will, however, be no official celebrations as a result of the government declaring three days of mourning in honour of the victims of the Bersis checkpoint suicide bomb.
