Tripoli, 25 December 2013:
The Libyan government has given permission to its Ministry of Interior to buy, without a competitive tender process, four firefighting planes from French firm Eurocopters for a total of LD 67 ($54) million.
The aircraft will be destined for the National Health and Safety Authority.
