Benghazi, 15 December 2013:
After a five-day lull in the bloodletting, another security official is reported to have been murdered in Benghazi this morning. Colonel Saad Al-Jamli is said to have been shot five times in the head outside a school. The unidentified killer managed to flee.
Meanwhile the fate of an air force officer, Khaled Salah Al-Hafar, who was kidnapped on Wednesday, remains unknown.
