Tripoli, 4 September 2013:
A grenade attack on the Mitiga compound of SSC commander Abdul Raouf Kara, was widely reported on social media as directly targeting Kara himself and two colleagues.
Speaking to the Libya Herald, Kara dismissed the speculation about the incident which he said happened on Tuesday night: “Some fool threw a grenade over the wall from the street and ran away” he said, adding, “It went off in open ground and no one was hurt”.
