Tripoli, 12 August:
Two members of Zawia Martyrs Battalion of the Libyan National Army were killed in Sirte today, when their military vehicle was ambushed and shot at by an armed group. The soldiers were on their way from the area of Jarif to the battalion’s headquarters in Abu-Hadi region.
A security source named the dead members of the battalion, as Zakaria Al-Kattani and Abdulsalam Al-Aabed. There was no immediate indication of the identity of the killers.
