Tripoli, 7 August 2013:
The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has opened a new branch in Gharyan, offering banking and financial services to citizens, businesses and other local banks.
Locals are apparently pleased with the move, which is seen as an important move towards decentralisation, according to Libyan news agency (LANA).
