Tripoli, 2 April 2013:
President of the General National Congress, Mohamed Margarief, has returned to Libya following successful heart surgery in Istanbul.
Margarief had a stent inserted into a coronary artery earlier this month, after experiencing chest pains. A stent is a mesh tube used to treat narrow or weak arteries. It can also reduce chest pains.
Margarief returned to Libya on Saturday and went back to work on Sunday.
