Benghazi, 15 December:
Unknown assailants shot dead the head the Traghen Local Council, Abdul Kader Ali Milad, and wounded two members of his family outside his home today.
The attack took place this afternoon in Traghen, and a source in nearby Murzuk confirmed that Milad was killed around 4pm.
It is not yet known who carried out the attack on Milad, who was a lawyer from Sebha.
