Tripoli, 18 June:

The High National Election Commission (HNEC) has set the financial ceilings for campaigning by both individual candidates and political parties in the run-up to next month's 7 July elections.

The High National Elections Commission

Resolution No. 85 for the year 2012 of the adoption of the financial ceiling for the electoral campaign for individual candidates and political entities.

After Consideration of;

*)  The Temporary Constitution issued on 3 August 2011 and its amendments,

*)  And Legislation No. 3 for 2012 concerning the formation of the HNEC and its amendments,

*)  And Legislation No. 4 for 2012 concerning the Elections of the National General Council and its amendments,

*)  And Legislation No. 14 concerning the delimitation of constituencies for electing the president and members of the High National Elections Council,

*)  And on the decision of the Board of Commissioners on the adoption of the list of campaigns for candidates and political entities No. 59 of 2012,

*) And on the decision of the Board of Commissioners in its 31st meeting held on 13 June 2012,

It has been decided;

Article 1:

The Adoption of the financial ceiling for the electoral campaign for individual candidates and political entities submitted to the Council in accordance with the table annexed to this resolution and is described by the roof of the election campaign expenses of candidates (individual and lists) in all main constituencies and its subsidiaries.

Article 2:

This decision shall be published in the Official press and in the official website of the council and all various media domain all that this must be adopted by all those concerned.
