Supreme Security Committee Establishes Office at Tripoli University

Tripoli, 23 May:

The head of the Supreme Security Committee (SSC) in Tripoli, Hashim Bashr, announced yesterday that an SSC office has been set up at Tripoli University to ensure the university campus' safety.

The members of the committee office are to guard the university's entrances and facilities. Bashr said there would be a series of training sessions for them. They will also be instructed about the importance of showing respect at the university.

The presence of the SSC should enable student and staff aline to work in a safe environment, Bashr stated.
