Tripoli, 19 April 2012:

As part of the resumption of work by oil service companies, the Advanced Environment Company for Construction (ACE Libya) has announced that it will restart, as of 21 April, the communications project linking sites and oil fields in the Sirte Basin. The second phase of the network fiber-optic cables project is being executed on behalf of a number of oil companies: Waha, Agoco, Mellita, Zueitina, Harouge, Mabrouk and Wintershall.

ACE Libya will appoint three teams to carry out the works and they will be spread across the area — Gallo, Bahi and the Zallah fields.  Works had stopped during the 17 February revolution.

ACE called on the oil companies to help it complete its work on time.
