Public prosecutors in Benghazi are investigating the deaths of a number of patients at a Benghazi hospital on Wednesday.
It was reported that at least four patients in the intensive care unit of the city's Hawari hospital died from asphyxiation due to lack of oxygen following a power failure.
One of the patients has been named as Hamida Ben Alajowad.
Initially it was reported that six patents had died. A health ministry official is recorded as saying that there were only two victims.
An initial report was expected today.
